Kayship — Truck Dispatch Website

Problem

KAYSHIP had just launched as a truck dispatch business in the USA, offering dedicated dispatching to owner-operators and fleet owners — load booking, rate negotiation, broker communication, and back-office support. The service itself was solid, but the business had zero online presence. No website, no way for a truck owner searching online to find them, no way to look credible against competitors who’d been established for years. In an industry where drivers vet a dispatcher before trusting them with their business, showing up with no web presence meant losing leads before a conversation even started. They needed a real digital front door — one that could rank on search and convert visitors into inquiries.

How I solved it / What I built

I designed and built KAYSHIP a complete branded website from the ground up (kayship.com), positioning them as a professional, established-feeling dispatch service from day one — even though they were brand new. The site was structured around what actually gets a trucking dispatch client to convert:

  • Clear service breakdowns — dedicated dispatcher, route and load planning, broker communication, paperwork handling, load booking and rate negotiation, back-office and factoring support
  • A truck-type breakdown (box trucks, dry vans, reefers, flatbeds) so different operators immediately see themselves reflected in the offering
  • Trust signals — testimonials from owner-operators and fleet owners, stats on loads dispatched and coverage
  • A clean path to conversion through a “Get a Dispatcher” form on nearly every section

I built the on-page structure with SEO in mind from the start — proper headings, service-specific pages, an FAQ section targeting real search queries truckers ask (“do you offer international dispatch,” “will I have a dedicated dispatcher”), and a blog section for ongoing content — so the site wasn’t just a brochure but an actual growth channel.

I handled the entire build solo, end to end: information architecture, the WordPress + Slider Revolution build, copy strategy for every service page and the FAQ, the visual identity (logo and iconography for truck types and services), and a mobile-responsive layout, since a large share of owner-operators would be checking the site from their phone on the road. Each core service — Dedicated Dispatcher, Route & Load Planning, Broker Communication, Paperwork Management, Load Booking, Factoring & Back Office Support — got its own standalone, SEO-targetable page rather than being crammed onto one page.

Result

A live, fully functional, professional website that gave KAYSHIP a real online identity and a foundation to start generating inbound leads through search — turning a business that had no digital footprint into one that looked, and functioned, like an established player in the space.
